The Liberal moratorium on oil tankers in the north coast of British Columbia is yet another blow to Canada’s oil and gas sector.

It doesn't stop oil tanker traffic but does hinder an entire region from energy opportunities - an economic impact that will be felt well beyond British Columbia.
