Eligible Canadian can start to apply for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit on April 6.

To speed up the process, sign up for a CRA My Account and direct deposit today.

Starting next week, applications will be received based on birth month to help ensure the efficient delivery of this program.

• Apply on Mondays if you were born in January, February or March.
• Apply on Tuesdays if you were born in April, May or June.
• Apply on Wednesday if you were born in July, August or September.
• Apply on Thursday if you were born in October, November of December.
• Apply on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, if you were born in any month.
