HUMA - Expectant mothers facing challenges accessing the CERB benefit

As the government rushes to roll out its Covid-19 response, it’s important that Canadians get quality service and accurate information. The growing number of reports that expectant mothers are not receiving CERB despite their eligibility must be rectified in a timely manner. I had the opportunity to raise this issue today in our Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities (HUMA).
