Today debate concluded at the second reading stage for my Private Member's Bill C-318.
The next step will be for Members of Parliament to vote on whether to send this bill on to committee.
In debate, Liberal MPs refused to commit to supporting this bill, despite campaigning on a new 15-week adoptive leave in the last two elections.
